Welcome to Brian's Driver Training. I am a Driving Instructor for both NSW and Canberra ACT.

We strive to provide you with high quality driving lessons in a safe, friendly, relaxed atmosphere.

We teach you not only the skills to go from your Learner's licence to your Provisional licence right up to MC (B-double truck licence), but also the knowledge and skills to become a safe and alert driver on today's busy roads.

As part of your first lesson you will be evaluated to assess your knowledge and experience level, then we will work with you to build your abilities and understanding towards being a competent driver.

We can pick you up from and return you to your preferred location.

Brian relies on his 29 years professional driving experience and expertise.

Car

You can learn in your car or our modern Hyundai i30 manual with dual pedals for extra safety. Lessons are usually one hour as we work through the levels of knowledge needed to pass the test.

In A.C.T. we train then assess you for units 1 to 21 under the Logbook CBT&A as we work up to the Final Competency Assessment (22).

In N.S.W. we train you so you are ready for the driving test with the Roads and Maritime Services (RTA).

Trucks

Light Rigid, Medium Rigid, Heavy Rigid, Heavy Combination, Multi Combination (B-double/road train)

Heavy Vehicle competency-based assessment (HVCBA) is the primary method for obtaining a heavy vehicle licence. HVCBA has been designed to allow for greater flexibility to best suit industry needs. Applicants can learn and be assessed in our manual truck or vehicle provided by the applicant or the applicant's employer, lesson times are flexible to fit in with work commitments.
